About me
Ashley Peters is a public affairs specialist for the Midwest region of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, based out of St. Paul, Minnesota. Prior to her current role, Ashley worked in various communications, marketing, and public engagement roles including the MN Department of Natural Resources, various bird conservation nonprofits, and the University of Minnesota's Institute on the Environment. Ashley is on the board for the Outdoor Writers Association of America. She holds a master's from the University of Minnesota's Humphrey School of Public Affairs and a bachelor's in communications from Truman State University. In her free time, Ashley enjoys fly fishing, upland bird hunting, birding, writing, and spending time with her family.
